Wax Poetics: Behind The Scenes

Wax Poetics is one of the few magazines that has dedicated itself to connecting hip-hip, jazz, and soul historically. If you want to know where a sample on a Pete Rock record came from, Wax Poetics will not only tell you what record it's originally from, but will probably do a whole 4-page story on the original artist from the sample. This is a magazine for music heads (us), not casual listeners (them).
