Oddisee is best known for his beats for cats like J-Live. But truth be told, if you let a real musical cat like this loose on a mic it's probable he'll make you look bad there as well. Peter Rosenberg has been on his Oddisee kick for a minute now, and just dropped this short clip of Oddisee rhyming in his living room as a preview of the new album (saw Peter Twittering about this earlier...basically bugging about it).
Here are some old Oddisee heat rocks to hold you over until this gem is dropped. The DivShare live player is down but the links are proper...
SOULSTICE - BOOK OF DAYS (PROD ODDISEE)
TRANQUIL - PROPA (PROD ODDISEE)
SIDE NOTE: I've decided that if I could be anyone in the world, I want to be Peter Rosenberg. An overwieght balding Jew on Hot 97. You heard me fools.

A Remix Oddisee
Oddisee has produced tracks for the likes of Little Brother, Talib Kweli, Wordsworth, J-Live, and pretty much everyone else we co-sign at The Full Clip.
In the last year he has been on his grizzly as far as solo releases go, dropping most notably a very fresh remix album under the obvious moniker The Remixture. Features include De La Soul, Mos Def, The Fugees, Jay-Z, Common, and Zap Mama. The reggae-influenced remix for The Fugees classic Fu-Gee-La is dope enough to shine for the whole project.
THE FUGEES - FU-GEE-LA (ODDISEE REMIX)
And a bonus of some brand spanking new J-Live:
ODDISEE FT J-LIVE & ASHERU - BOOGIE
You can visit Oddisee personally over at his blog for a more personal introduction.

Race in '08
I just saw this over at Eurok's and I had to post it. Who is the Clan Member / Art Director at Vogue right now? Fire immediately...
Believe it, it's no coincidence that a black man is running for president. Along with every other monumentally heavy issue at the forefront of concern right now (read: global warming and an ongoing war especially) we have an undeniable issue of racism in America that is in dire straights.
With the Sean Bell verdict this week we have another huge problem on our hands. Some damn good reporting and interesting facts floating around the net the past few days on this, well worth a look:
Detectives acquitted in Sean Bell case [The New York Times]
Bill Moyers interviews Jeremiah Wright [Different Kitchen]
Mos Def speaks out against the Sean Bell verdict [World Star Hip-Hop]
