The Islands have been performing this track across the country & break out different MCs on stage to rip the beat, including Aesop Rock over in San Francisco. Apparently Aesop has skipped town permanently and has now retreated into healthy, non-smoking, indy bliss (soon to be followed by yours truly).
I thought that to be a part of Def Jux you need to live in Brooklyn with El-P and every other labelmate?
