The International Hip-Hop Festival opens in NYC tomorrow and runs for 12 hours, from 2pm to 2am, with an array of films from all over the world. Included are films about hip-hop in Africa, various regions of South America, and Europe. I'm 90% on some of these so my people hit me up if you are interested in checking out some interesting documentaries.
Of particular interest is Puedo Hablar, which follows the 2006 presidential elections in Venezuela from the perspective of hip-hop youth in the country. Viva la Chavez.
