High Design: BMW Cloth Car

Like it or not, BMW is ahead of the entire market in creative thinking. Currently they are hiring more engineers, visual artists, and visionaries who are focused on finding completely new ways to transform technology (rather than recreate it), often mimicking deeper patterns in nature. If you haven't seen it yet, this video on kinetic sculptor Theo Jansen is a perfect example of where they are headed.

And a cloth car? I'm not your typical American "car guy" but god damn.
