Black Friday Special: Nazz

Im too hungover to tell you anything except that this is hands down the best thing I have acquired in the last few months. Nas classics remixed with absolutely beautiful jazz compositions from the likes of Dilla, Benjamin Herman, The Roots, and J Rawls. This is really the direction Nas should be taking with his beat choices, more reminiscent of Illmatic than Untitled.

Sampling of the best tracks below, and you can cop the full album here, via GMJ himself. Happy Thanksgiving my fiends.

NAS - NY STATE OF MIND (BENJAMIN HERMAN REMIX)

NAS - KISSING (DILLA REMIX)

Not to Ether you, but how is this an exclusive? GMJ did a mass mailing of this mixtape. I posted it yesterday, it's up on all kinds of forums, HHB. You name it.

This shit was trash, yo. I was really excited to check it out and not ONE frickin acapella was on beat. Nas has the most in-the-pocket flow for hip hop remixes--no reason for this.

To quote Mike Ditka, "This was a classic case of something that looks good and smell terrible"
