If you head over to Google Trends for a true American wake-up call, you will be nicely surprised to notice that Lil Wayne is more searched for on Google than John McCain and Barack Obama combined. This means that either there are fifty times more 15 year-olds in this country than mature adults, or all of the adults in this country are 15 year-olds.
Excuse me while I stone face the Republican National Convention.

yeah, i usually just search obama. rarely barack obama.
plus, old people dont use the internet. they dont even use google. they use yahoo or msn.com or some shit
check out the book Cult of the Amateur- it goes into how leaving things to popular opinion usually end up in the most generic form- ie Britney Spears and Grey's Anatomy- and usually don;t contribute anything "valuable" to society.
