I'm not quite sure how I ever missed this, but I just got put on to Q-Tip's Abstract Innovations, which apparently has been out for about a year. Perhaps it was those two tracks premiering on Mark Ronson's show today, or maybe I'm just flat out ready for the upcoming Tribe reunion.
This is a refreshing and unexpected look from Q, and is hands down the best track he's put out in years. Straight flavor.
