New Spike Lee Epic

I'm not going to lie. I miss the old Spike Lee. Do The Right Thing, Crooklyn, and Clockers are three of the best films of all time.

The new Spike has, for no apparent reason, jumped outside of the NYC/Brooklyn storytelling scene. There are still stories to be told about Brooklyn Spike! Inside Man was entertaining, but honestly I forgot about it 3 seconds after I left the theatre.

This film looks like it will be visually beautiful and epic, but even without seeing it I remain doubtful unless proven otherwise.
