This June the Prospect Park Bandshell will open with a long slate of free shows to celebrate 30 summers of music.
On the hip-hop side you have Jeru the Damaja, DJ Premier, Masta Ace, Buckshot, and Chubb Rock, reuniting as the Crooklyn Dodgers. Then on the general good "other" music side there's Medeski Martin and Wood, Miriam Makeba, and a show by the Philip Glass Orchestra.
